Kakheti
Mildiani Family Winery is a premier Georgian wine producer founded in 1991 by four brothers. The winery combines rich traditions, modern technology, and its own estate vineyards located across Kakheti's top winemaking zones, including Tsinandali.
Story
Starting with wine trade and export, the company soon constructed its bottling plant and ceramic workshop in Mtskheta. Mildiani was the first in post-Soviet Georgia to commercialize wine bottled in traditional ceramic vessels. Later, a state-of-the-art winery equipped with advanced Italian technology was built in Tsinandali. Notably, Mildiani's 2002 Saperavi harvest became the first Georgian wine in the post-Soviet era to win a Silver Medal at the prestigious Vinalies Internationales competition in Paris in 2004.
